2026 will herald the dawn of an exciting new era for Wolverhampton Racecourse, with Dunstall Park set to enjoy its busiest year yet.

Dunstall Park will play host to 87 horse racing fixtures and over 200 greyhound fixtures throughout next year.

Highlights include the Rum & Reggae Raceday on Saturday, 4th April. The Easter Monday Family Funday will take place on Monday, 6th April, while the Summer Family Funday on Sunday is scheduled for 28th June.

There will be racing taking place as usual on Boxing Day, while the Panto Race Day will also go ahead the following day.

The racecourse will play host to its usual mixture of competitive racing, as well as being the starting place for smart two-year-olds.

In recent years, the likes of Group 1 winners Pinatubo and Kalpana have both used this track as a starting point in their careers before going on to achieve big things.

Advance booking will be available for all fixtures, with horse racing admission tickets available from £10.

David Ideson, Executive Director of Wolverhampton Racecourse, said: “We are excited and looking forward to 2026 as Dunstall Park embarks on its busiest year yet, as the only sporting venue in the UK to host both Horseracing and Greyhound racing with 87 horse racing fixtures and over 200 greyhound fixtures there will always be a sporting event here for our customers to enjoy.”
