General admission ticket sales remain open online before and during each fixture. Sales of hospitality tickets online will close after gates open on the day of racing.

The earlier you book your tickets, the better the savings. So book it as soon as you can when you find an event you would like to come to. Alternatively, tickets booked within 48 hours of the fixture could also have a discount. Although booking early is key for our bigger events and fun days.

Online tickets remain open during each fixture and can be used to purchase tickets on the day of racing. You can also buy a ticket at the gate via card payment only. Online hospitality tickets are not available after gates open on the day of the racing.

All tickets are emailed two weeks before the date of your fixture. This includes tickets for restaurant and hospitality bookings. If the tickets are booked within two weeks of the fixture, they will be emailed immediately. Sometimes emails can land in the junk folder, so please check there before getting in touch.

You can print them if you wish, but we can scan the tickets on mobile phones and tablets, so they don’t have to be printed off.

We only offer refunds or transfers on tickets and any other online purchases if a fixture is abandoned or the event is cancelled. Please see our terms and conditions of entry for full details.

Yes, if there is space available, you can upgrade your ticket to another enclosure on the day. Please visit the hotel reception to do this.

Yes, we’re a friendly racecourse at Wolverhampton and happily welcome children and families. Children aged 17 and under go free to the races when accompanied by an adult (some exclusions apply for Festival fixtures and Live After Racing events). You'll need to collect a child’s ticket from the ticketing office or turnstile on the day of the racing. Each full-paying adult can bring up to three children for free.

If you just want to buy a ticket to an event, have a look online at our fixtures and choose the date you'd like to attend. Select the ticket you'd like to buy and add this to your basket. Enter the unique Gift Voucher code in the 'Add Gift Voucher Code' field at the checkout for full or part payment.

If you would like to use your gift voucher for restaurants and hospitality packages, then please give us a call on 01302499730 with your gift voucher number to hand.

Your gift voucher can be used as full or part payment over the phone. Any balance left will be credited to your account to use at a future event. Your ticket(s) will be emailed to you

We sometimes work with third parties. A customer who has a voucher from third parties must redeem it at least two weeks before the fixture they wish to attend. Choose the event you would like to attend online, select the ticket you would like and add the voucher code at checkout for full or part payment.

If you have a booking in the Horizons restaurant, your table is reserved for the duration of the race meeting, and the restaurant bar closes 30 minutes after the last race.

We offer £5 off for seniors aged 60+ and students. This discount is applied against the on-the-day ticket price and is only available on Grandstand tickets. Tickets must be purchased at the gate, where proof may be requested.

For certain events, we can allow a bar tab to be set up upon request. Guests dining in the Horizons Restaurant can set up a bar tab on the evening using a card-safe facility. If you'd like to set up a tab, please request this in advance. Upon arrival you will be asked to provide a credit or debit card. The card will be retained during service and returned once your bill is settled. Please note that we do not accept any cash at our venue, as we are a cash free venue.

Typically, gates open between an hour and a half to two hours before the first race. For feature and festival fixtures, gates may open earlier.

Check the what’s on fixture page for the date you’re attending for the most up-to-date time, as race times are subject to change.

Races will take place at different times and can also change last minute, so please check online for the timings of your fixture.

Typically, the racecourse, along with bars and food outlets, will close shortly after the last race. For themed race nights with music after racing, the live act will perform after the last race, and the racecourse will close shortly after the performance.

Most racegoers tend to dress up a bit for a day out at the races. Many go for a smart casual outfit, and we have lots more information about what to wear if you click here. We discourage sportswear and ripped jeans, and offensive fancy dress is not allowed. We have more formal dress codes in place for some of our premier ticket options, as well as hospitality and restaurant packages, all of which can be found on the dress code page of our website.

We don’t have a super strict dress code, but jeans need to be smart, with no rips, tears or fraying, and shorts also should be smart and tailored. Gentlemen need to wear a collared shirt, and t-shirts, sports attire, cargo style shorts, and trainers are not permitted. For ladies, please go for smart shoes or heels - sandals are permitted, but please avoid beach-style flip flops.

Yes, absolutely. We welcome coach groups to the racecourse. On arrival, coaches will be directed to our allocated coach parking by our friendly stewards. Coach drivers will also be given a free ticket to the event, but this doesn’t apply if the driver has a minibus rather than a coach.

We have over 1500 FREE car parking spaces available on site so you’ll always have a space.

For Grandstand tickets please enter through Turnstiles. Premier, Restaurant, Hospitality and Owners/Trainers (PASS System) through the Hotel.

Different bars and food outlets will be open depending on how busy the fixture is likely to be. Don’t worry, there’s plenty to choose from and you’ll always be able to grab a drink and a bite to eat when you come to Wolverhampton Racecourse.

No food or drink can be brought into the racecourse. We have plenty of food and drink outlets where you can buy something on the day.

No alcohol can be brought into the racecourse. We always have a range of bars open, selling a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Barbecues are not allowed to be used at the racecourse.

Smart jeans (no rips, tears or fraying) are acceptable, as are smart tailored shorts, but t-shirts, sports attire, cargo style shorts and trainers are not permitted and we do ask that gentlemen wear a collared shirt. Smart shoes, heels, and sandals for ladies are permitted however beach style flip flops are not.

Personal assistants get free admission to the racecourse when they come with a paying guest who has accessibility needs.

Personal Assistant tickets can be claimed in person on the day of racing at the entrance. Please bring proof of accessible needs along with you, for example Disability Living Allowance (DLA), Personal Independence Payment (PIP), Attendance Allowance (AA) or Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP).

Please email info@wolverhampton-racecourse.co.uk at least 24 hours in advance with your name and details of the fixture you wish to attend to arrange these tickets. Subject to availability.

Wheelchair guests with a Premier ticket can view the racing from the first floor which is accessed via a lift. We don’t have any dedicated wheelchair viewing areas in the Grandstand enclosure.

Betting on the horses is a time-honoured tradition and can add to the excitement of the day. If you would like to place a bet, we have plenty of totes and bookmakers at our racecourse to choose from.

No, we don’t have any cash machines on site at Wolverhampton Racecourse. All catering and bars accept debit or credit card payments only. The tote, along with bookmakers, do accept cash payment and some may also accept debit card payments (no credit cards). If you want to bet using cash then you will need to bring this with you.

All bars and food outlets are cashless and accept card and contactless payments only. Our bookmakers and the tote do still accept cash payments. As there are no cash machines on the racecourse, please bring cash with you if you would like to place a bet in cash.

Yes, our bookmakers will still accept cash and some will also accept debit cards. There are no cash machines on the racecourse so if cash is your preferred method then please ensure you bring this with you.

Download your free, digital racecard on the morning of racing from our website. Printed racecards will be available to buy on site on the day as well.

Unless you have booked a ticket with a reserved seat included, a restaurant package or hospitality option, we only have limited seating available across Wolverhampton Racecourse and the majority will be outside.

Chairs will not be allowed to be brought into the racecourse during weekend fixtures, unless for medical reasons. This is always at the discretion of the safety officer on the day.

We have dedicated smoking areas throughout the racecourse. There is also no vaping allowed anywhere other than these areas.

We have a contemporary and recently refurbished Holiday Inn hotel on site, complete with free wifi and parking. This is the best place to stay if you’re coming to Wolverhampton Racecourse for a conference, meeting, or a race day.

We are lucky to have an all weather Tapeta track at Wolverhampton Racecourse so the weather will not affect the going as it can at other racecourses.

If there is bad weather then you will need to dress appropriately and make sure you bring umbrellas and rain coats if needed as the majority of the racing is outdoors. We don’t offer refunds or transfers on tickets in the event of bad weather. We only offer this if the race is abandoned or an event cancelled for a reason outside of our control. No, dogs are not allowed at Wolverhampton Racecourse. The only exceptions are Guide Dogs for the Blind and other Assistance Dogs. Please DO NOT leave your dog in the car as this is dangerous for them, please leave all dogs at home.

Yes, taking photos for personal non-commercial use is a great way to remember your great time at Wolverhampton Racecourse.

Please make sure that no flash photography takes place near the horses.

During live music and entertainment, the artists' management retain all image rights. Any photographer that is felt to be impeding or contravening these rights without accreditation and prior written consent will be requested to leave the premises.

Nobody can take images for commercial purposes without prior permission from the racecourse and provision of press accreditation.

Note

We always have professional filming and photography at the racecourse for various publications and broadcasting outlets. All race goers (including families) consent to being filmed, photographed and otherwise recorded by the Racecourse or any authorised third-party.

By entering the racecourse, you accept our terms and conditions of entry, which authorise the Racecourse the right to broadcast, publish, licence, and use any photographs, film, recordings, or images of you without payment or other compensation in any promotional literature produced by Arena Racing Company.
