Wolverhampton Racecourse are delighted to announce The Grand Theatre as official sponsor for Ladies Day Racing on Saturday 22nd August.
Wolverhampton Grand Theatre has been entertaining audiences of all ages in the city and across the Black Country for over 125 years, playing host to a wide range of touring productions including the very best musicals, drama, ballet, dance, opera, comedy, concerts, children’s shows and one of the biggest and most loved pantomimes in the country.,
Located in the heart of the city, and within a short walk of all major transport links and city centre parking, its Grade II listed building is fully accessible and features a stunning three tiered Victorian auditorium, admired by performers and audience members alike.
As well as hosting live performances, the Grand Theatre also works within the community, hosting dementia friendly events and taking theatre inspired workshops into local schools.
The deal will see The Grand Theatre appear across the racecourse for Ladies Day which also includes a live performance from Wolverhampton born, Liam Payne.
After rising to fame on X Factor, Liam became a worldwide phenomenon with One Direction and then going on to a successful solo career.
