The British Open Championship is a large and prestigious Karate and Kickboxing tournament now in it's 8th year. It is an official WKU title belt championship for martial arts competitors of all ages and abilities and featuring mat and ring sport action in the categories of Light Contact, Points Fighting (Semi), Full Contact, K1, Kick Light, Traditional Karate, Kata and Forms. Students of all styles, from any association, and from any country, are invited to find the best of the best in each martial arts mode with divisions suitable for novice, intermediate, and advanced competitors.

  • Registration for Juniors and novice grades open at 9.00
  • Registration for Teens open at 10:30
  • Registration for Seniors open at 12:00 midday
  • Event starts at 10:30
