In a bid to attract new customers into the fun and excitement of horse racing, some of Britain's best known racecourses have teamed up to create the first ever week when the public can race for free every day. Race horses 2

This ground breaking initiative throughout April 2010 is being organised by Racing for Change as part of a wider campaign to broaden the appeal of the sport. Eight racecourses, over a period of six days between Monday 26 April and Saturday 1 May, will open their gates and welcome visitors free of charge so they can experience the thrill of a day at the races.

For free admission to the Wolverhampton fixture on Monday, 26th April please call: 01902 390000 or e-mail: info@wolverhampton-racecourse.co.uk quoting 'Try Horseracing For Free at Wolverhampton' in the subject line and providing your full contact details (Name, Full Address including Postcode, E-mail Address and a contact telephone number) within the e-mail. Booking on the day is available, however we do advise to pre-book to avoid queues.

At each of the free race meetings, free guides to the racing will be handed out by the Tote so that every visitor will have a list of the runners and riders.

*Racing for Change is a new initiative created by Racing Enterprises Ltd, the commercial arm of British horse racing. The Racing for Change board features all of the sport's key organisations and includes not only representation from the racecourses and the participants, but also the Horse race Betting Levy Board and the British Horseracing Authority, the bodies with responsibility for funding, governance and regulation.
