Wolverhampton Racecourse is the ideal venue for meetings, conferences and exhibitions. Our meeting rooms vary in size from small meetings to those for 700 theatre style. The outdoor areas are ideal for tented shows and displays, team building events and fun days. A great geographical location, in the centre of the country and close to the M6 and M54 motorways. Situated one mile from Wolverhampton city centre, and approximately 15 miles to Birmingham, with free parking for over 1500 vehicles. Set in 22 acres of parkland with areas of scientific interest, holding your event at Wolverhampton Racecourse is guaranteed to impress clients and colleagues alike.

Venue Details

The Ground Floor - Ringside Suite
The 672 square metre pillar free Ringside Suite is perfect for large conferences and exhibitions. It adjoins a concourse, which provides a total of 1400 square metres of space for a range of trade shows or business meetings, product launches or prestigious dinners. The suite is suitable for back projection facilities and a range of seating styles. The Ringside is one of the largest conference rooms of its type in the area and one of the most flexible events spaces in Wolverhampton.
The suite can seat 600 theatre style and 500 banqueting style. There is also vehicular access to this versatile and flexible space.

The Concourse

The Concourse is situated adjacent to the Ringside Suite and provides around 500 square metres of space for a wide range of events. Having two main entrance points, the Concourse provides a flexible space which can be utilised on its own or as an adjoining room to the Ringside. The Concourse has proved popular for use with shell scheme exhibition units, as a meet and greet reception room, as a break out or dining area and for cultural ceremonies and events.

The Wulfrun Suite

The Wulfrun Suite can accommodate 150 theatre style and is also suitable for other layouts. With natural daylight and warm furnishings this flexible room has a private bar, a balcony overlooking the parade ring and direct access out to the track.

The Dunstall Suite

Also situated on the first floor is the Dunstall Suite which can comfortably accommodate 115 theatre style. The flexible space of the Dunstall Suite offers the perfect setting for meetings, small conferences, training events and private dinners.

Meeting Rooms 1-8

There are eight, traditional and well appointed, meeting rooms that can accommodate between 2 and 70 people theatre style, all overlooking the race track and surrounding parkland, providing a quiet but pleasant atmosphere on non-race days. These rooms are ideal for use as syndicate rooms.

HORIZONS

The contemporary Horizons Restaurant makes an ideal lunch venue for large meetings and can hold up to 370 diners. This panoramic restaurant is also available to hire for private events.

OUTDOOR AREA

As a major sporting venue Wolverhampton Racecourse also caters for large outdoor events. The 19 acres of grassed arena is located in the centre of the track and is the prefect space for tented shows and displays, fun days or team building and motivational events. This arena has proved popular for car launches and other motor tradeshows.
